Delivery & Shipping FAQ

Are all your products in stock?

The majority of our items are in stock.  In the event that there is an out-of-stock item we will notify you via email of the delay.

When will my order be delivered?

We aim to have orders delivered to you within 5 business working days.

Can I specify a delivery date when I order?

Once you have received your order confirmation e-mail, e-mail or phone us to notify us that you would like delivery delayed and state when you would like us to despatch the delivery.

Can I specify a delivery time?

No.  Our deliveries are couriered by a third party.

How do I know if my order has been received?

When we get your online order, an Order Acknowledgement screen will appear.  This has an order reference number.  It’s a good idea to print out the page so you can refer back to it.   We’ll also email you to confirm we have your order.

Can I add to an existing order?

You can add items to your order until you confirm your payment details and complete the order.  Once the order is confirmed, you can’t add items to the same order.   If you want to buy more items, please place a new order.

What are the shipping rates?

We offer free shipping on all items in the Republic of Ireland.

Do I need to sign for a delivery?

Yes. Our courier will require that you sign to acknowledge you received them.

How will my order be delivered?

Our products are delivered via courier.   In certain circumstances they may be delivered via P.J. Nolan Heating & Plumbing Supplies Limited delivery service.  If this is the case, we will notify you by e-mail.

Will you install the products I’ve ordered?

No.  We do not install the products we sell.  We are more than happy to recommend qualified plumbers or electricians we have worked with in the past.  If you require a plumber contact us and we’ll recommend one for you.

Will you bring the products into the house for me?

For insurance reasons we are unable to carry goods into your house.

Before we come, don’t forget to measure your doorways, hall and stairs to check your items will fit!   P.J. Nolan’s Heating & Plumbing Supplies Limited cannot be held responsible if the items you order do not fit in your home.

Some of the items on my order were not delivered.

It may happen that some of the items on your order were out of stock.  If this is the case we would e-mail you notifying you of the out-of-stock items and provide you with an estimate delivery date.

One or more the items I purchased are damaged, what do I do?

If one of the items you received is damaged, contact us immediately.  You will need to send the item back to us and we will arrange for a replacement item to be sent out to you.    Please refer to our Returns & Refunds FAQ.

Can I return a product, exchange it or get a refund?

Yes.  If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, please see our Returns & Refunds FAQ.

Do I get a receipt with my delivery?

Your receipt is the despatch note in the parcel.  Keep the receipt as you’ll need it if you want to return items.

Can I place an order from outside the Republic of Ireland?

If you are shopping on from outside the Republic of Ireland, your order confirmation will be submitted to us as an Order Enquiry.  You will bet an e-mail advising you of this.

We will contact you in due course advising you on delivery costs on your order and asking if you wish to place the order.

Does delivery outside the Republic of Ireland?

Yes.  Delivery outside the Republic of Ireland will incur delivery costs. We recommend you contact us or submit an Order Enquiry for more information.

Are my personal details secure ?

Yes.  Shopping on is as safe as shopping in store.   Your bank card details will be encrypted to help keep them secure.

How can I pay for my items?

You can pay online with most major credit or debit cards, including Mastercard, Visa Credit Card, Visa Debit Card, Visa Electron and Maestro.

What should I do if my credit or debit card was refused when I placed my order?

If your card was refused, resubmit your order using a different card.  For details on why your card was refused, please contact your card issuer.
